General Rental Terms and
Conditions
Booking
Any booking of an apartment in RESIDENCE SULEKOVA
shall be confirmed in writing and is subject to availability. A credit card
number will be requested as a guarantee at the reservation for the guests
paying upon departure.
Length of stay and Modification of stay
The length of the
stay in the RESIDENCE SULEKOVA will be provided as it is stated in written
reservation confirmation.
Subject to availability and at the discretion of the
management, a guest’s length of stay can be extended, although there will be no
obligation to allocate the same apartment or to apply the same rate. If the
duration of the reserved stay is to be shortened, then the applicable tariff
for that shorter duration will come into force.
Please note that a change of rate for a shortened or
lengthened stay will be applied retrospectively to the resident’s account. The
new rate will be effective from the original date of arrival.
Obligations of the Resident
The resident shall
use the rented premises and facilities responsibly, pursuant to the herein
above provisions and to the Residence’s interior rules and regulations.
The apartment will
be made available to the resident in a good state of upkeep at the time and
date specified in reservation confirmation. An inventory of equipment and utensils
is placed in each apartment, and it is the obligation of the resident to verify
the completeness of the inventory upon arrival in the apartment.
In the event of
discrepancies, the resident shall report such discrepancies to reception within
four hours of arrival. If no discrepancy is reported, the resident will be
deemed to have accepted the inventory.
The inventory and the state of cleanliness of the
apartment will be verified at the time of the resident’s departure. At the end
of the stay, the apartment must be returned by the resident in an orderly
condition, failing which costs for any damage may be charged to the resident.
The apartment will be made available to the resident
in good order, and the resident is responsible for taking reasonable care of
the apartment and its content. Except in the case of normal wear and tear, the
resident will be responsible for making good any damage to the apartment and
its content which occurred due to negligence, willful damage or irresponsible
behavior on the part of those occupying the apartment, or their guests. Such
damage must be reported, without delay, to local representatives. The cost of
the repair or replacement must be agreed upon and paid to MaMaison.
A final inventory and check of the apartment will be
conducted on or before the resident’s departure. MaMaison will charge a
resident for any item of equipment or utensils missing from the inventory
and/or for any damage caused to the apartment.
We reserve the right to enter (either ourselves or
through sub-contractors) the rented apartment at any time (with due regard to
the convenience of the resident) for inspections, maintenance, cleaning and
security purposes, and to ensure due performance of this agreement by the
resident.
In case keys are
lost, fee of 5000SKK is to be charged to the resident.
Subletting with the
Residence, for personal or professional purposes is prohibited.
Cancellation / No Show Policy
A cancellation make known to MaMaison at any time
prior to mid-day (12.00) on the expected day of arrival, will not be subject to
a cancellation fee.
For all cancellations made known to MaMaison at any
time after mid-day on the expected day of arrival, or for a no show, MaMaison
will retain or invoice an amount as follows:
for stays of under seven nights, the value
of a one night stay;
for stays of between seven nights to 29
nights, the value of a two night stay
for stays of more than 29 nights, the value
of a three night stay
The effective date of a written cancellation from a
resident will be the date of receipt of that cancellation at the residence.
Liability
RESIDENCE SULEKOVA
will be liable for personnel belongings located brought into the residence
according to the §758, § 433, § 436 of the Civil Law of the Slovak Republic.
All information supplied by MaMaison and our
representatives is given in good faith, and is based upon information available
at that time. All reasonable measures have been taken to ensure the accuracy of
any statement made, but neither MaMaison nor its representatives shall be
liable for any variation or discrepancy.
The price of the rental does not include the cost of
additional services requested, and does not include any personal insurance
cover. MaMaison recommends that its residents take out all relevant insurance
coverage. The Provider will agree, in case of a resident’s interest, with a
possibility to close an insurance contract with an insurance company of the
resident’s choice in the matter of insurance of personal belongings of the
resident.
